335 Days a Year
2010, We had 335 days with Marriott, and we enjoyed them all. From Houston, Baltimore, Cancun, Cabo San Lucas and more, Marriott is our hotel of choice. Both comfort and staff assistance have been excellent every time we have stayed with them. Our only concerns, is there is no Marriott in the Turks and Caicos.
While in the Turks and Caicos Islands, we have enjoyed the Ports of Call Resort as one of the all around best for service and location, being minutes from Grace Bay, the Graceway IGA and Saltmills Plaza.
Other great places in the Turks and Caicos Islands include The Sands, with Hemingway's, and La Vista Azul. And a must see is the Fish Fry on Thursdays, where you can meet the fantastic folks of the island and enjoy their culture.
It is so easy to rent a car (right hand drive) and travel along the Island and see the great views, and meet the locals. It is not hard to spend a couple of weeks here, or more.
We have traveled to the Turks and Caicos in every season and have not had a disappointment. Although the island's population is small, the whole experience of relaxing and enjoying the culture and ambiance makes these islands our destination most visited in the Caribbean.
